Before you get transmission repair for your Chrysler, here’s some information about the brand in general.   Chrysler Group LLC /ˈkraɪslər/ is an American automobile manufacturer headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan. It is a consolidated subsidiary of Italian multinational automaker Fiat.[2][3] Chrysler is one of the “Big Three” American automobile manufacturers. It sells vehicles worldwide under its flagship Chrysler brand, as well as the Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands; it also manufactures vehicles sold under the Fiat brand in North America. Other major divisions of Chrysler include Mopar, its automotive parts and accessories division, and SRT, its performance automobile division. In 2011, Chrysler Group (not including Fiat) was the twelfth biggest automaker in the world by production.[READ MORE]

The Chrysler family is a very diverse group of automobiles, only some of which are covered in this article.  Dodge Rams are pickups and popular ones at that.  Fiats are sporty and tiny little cars that are great on gas.  Chryslers themselves are premium luxury sedans, and in the case of a PT Cruiser, comes in a 4-speed Ultradrive 40TE automatic transmission. Considering their diversity, Chrysler automatic transmission service is only a part of it.  Some vehicles come with a 5-speed manual transmission in lieu of an automatic. Despite the fact that some newer models have a lifetime powertrain warranty, you want to properly maintain your vehicle.

Transmission Service in Mesa For Chrysler Automobiles

A good rule of thumb to remember about Chryslers is to get them serviced every 15,000 miles, or whatever your owner’s manual recommend.  A lot of times, people let maintenance schedules slip because they get busy, but this is not a good course of action to follow.  Instead, get your Chrysler transmission serviced on time or as close as possible to the mileage reading, or you run the risk of violating your warranty, and then the expense could be cost prohibitive.

Chryslers are a part of American life.  There are still millions of them on the road in one form or another in the US alone.  If you have a Chrysler, keep it up.  Rotate your tires every now and then, and make sure your brakes are working.  And get your car in for regular transmission service in Mesa.
